5 Things To Take On Your Snorkeling Tour

In Cabo San Lucas, there are many water activities that you can participate in.  One of those activities is a Cabo snorkeling tour.  For those that have never been on a Cabo snorkeling tour, there are probably some questions that you have.  First, we’ll define what snorkeling is.  When you snorkel, you swim through the water with the help of a diving mask and a breathing tube, which is called a snorkel.  If you’re a little nervous for your first trip, you can rest assured knowing that there are guides that will help you throughout the process.  It also helps calm your nerves to be well prepared.  For that reason, we’ve made a list of things that you can take with you on your Cabo San Lucas snorkeling tour.

Swim Cap

You don’t have to wear a swim cap, but it helps to keep hair out of your snorkel.  You can also wear a bandana, which works in the same way.

Float Vest

Cabo San Lucas snorkeling tours may seem more intimidating for those that aren’t the best swimmers.  If you aren’t confident in your swimming skills, you should consider wearing a float vest.  This way, you can focus on the beauty of the activity, rather than swimming.

Biodegradable Sunscreen

Cabo San Lucas is known for having a large coral reef which is the home to a diverse marine life.  While you’re enjoying the diversity, you should make sure that you’re not harming the environment in any way.  For this reason, make sure to wear biodegradable sunscreen so that the reefs aren’t affected.

Neoprene Socks

The fins that you wear on your feet may cause uncomfortable blisters.  To prevent this from happening, you should wear neoprene socks.  They will also help keep you warm.

Comfortable Swimsuit

Some people choose to wear wetsuits when they go on Cabo San Lucas snorkeling tours.  Although they’ll help keep you warm, they aren’t required.  If you don’t wear a wetsuit, make sure to wear a swimsuit that’s comfortable to swim around in.

If you’re still nervous for your Cabo snorkeling tour, don’t hesitate to talk to your instructor.  They will answer all of your questions and make sure that you’re well-prepared for your first trip.
